Where:

Vancouver, BC to Dalhousie, NB, Vancouver, BC

More Info:

On July 1st 2011(Canada day) three teenagers all aged 19 will begin cycling west-to-east across Canada in support of MS (Multiple Sclerosis) research.

The expedition will commence in Vancouver, BC, and end in Dalhousie, NB. They will travel over 6000 kilometers through the mountains of British Columbia, the prairies of Alberta and Saskatewan, the Canadian Shield in Manitoba, around Lake Superior in Ontario, and finally through the Route Verte in Quebec and into New Brunswick.
The goal is to cycle between 200 – 300 kilometers per day, meaning that they plan to complete this expedition in 28 days. Completing this feat will award them a record for the fastest crossing of Canada from Vancouver, British Columbia to Dalhousie, New Brunswick.
The team aim to raise CND 100,000 in aid of endMS, a charity that combats Multiple Sclerosis in Canada and throughout the world by funding projects which bring the world closer to finding a cure for this debilitating disease.
The entire expeditions will be filmed with the hope that a documentary will be produced. Through this film the three teenagers aim to inspire young people around the world to render positive impact in their communities.

We are also inviting you to track us on our route and come ride with us at our website: www.cyclingtoendms.com
